Salt Mine City Brewing Co was born from a love of craft beer, community, and Nebraska roots. What began in 2022 as a small-batch brewery in David City quickly gained traction for its bold, flavorful brews and laid-back, welcoming atmosphere.
In 2024, Salt Mine City expanded to Lincoln’s historic Haymarket District. Bringing its signature lineup of handcrafted beers, elevated pub food, and community-first spirit to the heart of downtown. The Haymarket taproom offers a space for you to gather and connect.

"Stopped for a late lunch. Grabbed a flight of all 12 beers and food for the family. Some really good beers! My favorites were the mango wheat and the lager, which isn't my normal go to. Food was quick and tasty. I think my kids could have eaten their weight in those fries. Owner was the bartender and was great to visit with. Highly recommend."

"My first time here. I can highly recommend the 3 Mile Corner ale. And the food was excellent also. Between three of us, we had the Teriyaki burger, the San Francisco melt, and the crispy chicken on a pretzel bun. All very tasty."

"Great selection of beers from local Nebraskans. They have food! The Cuban sandwich is one of the best sandwiches in town. The Philly is also really good and they have a kids menu. The heavy hammer Scottish ale is one of the best I've had and I've been drinking them for over 20 years. Great brewery. Good vibes. Great service. Even better beer. Get in here!"

"Really nice place. Fantastic to spend an evening and watch sports. Had the turkey melt with cheese lettuce mayo and alfalfa sprouts. The sandwich was great and the fries were amazing. Went on a not very busy night so the atmosphere was nice."

"We stopped by on a beautiful evening wanting to try something new! Got the Super Molly (Hefe) and Heavy Hammer (Scottish Ale), and both were delicious. They also let us sample some 'Veggie Vodka', an eponymous house infusion we spotted in the back corner, and it was tasty too. Might try in in cocktails."
